Jetflite has provided safe and reliable air medical transport services to thousands of patients during the past decades. Our Euro-Flite Air Ambulance service guarantees an unbroken chain of medical services. We arrange a medical team to accompany the patient, along with the aircraft equipped with the required medical equipment.

Jetflite’s ambulance flight services are carried out in co-operation with MedFlight Finland –  a leading provider of intensive care patient tranfers.

MedFlight, and Jeflite as a subcontractor, have recently been awarded the valued EURAMI Full Accreditation, “Special Care”.  The Full Accreditation Special Care means that, in addition to substantial compliance, the service demonstrates proven capabilities in air transports of special high risk patients (e. g. IABP, ARDS, neonates, NO ventilation etc.), providing continued high level care.

EURAMI (European Aero-Medical Institute) is a Germany based non-profit association of air medical professionals and operators from 27 countries in and outside Europe. The association aims to promote air rescue and to develop and harmonize quality standards and to improve patient care and safety in air medical transports.  EURAMI Accreditation Standards are periodically revised criteria to assess an air medical service’s level of quality.

An ambulance flight

Ambulance flights are flown using fixed-wing aircraft or helicopters. The aircraft are equipped with a standard Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Ambulance aircraft take off within 2 hours of the go-ahead order. We also arrange for other means of transportation, such as ferries or trains, as well as ground ambulances and taxis. A patient in need of urgent treatment will be transported to the nearest hospital that is of high western medical care standards. Depending upon the patient’s condition, we will recommend a receiving facility and inform the facility accordingly. We also arrange the transfer of the foreign patients from Finland to their respective countries.

Seamless co-operation

Euro-Flite flight crews and onboard medical teams are highly trained. All personnel have a thorough understanding of the mission at hand. Seamless co-operation between the flight crew and the medical teams has been fine-tuned over many years of operation.

Operating area and range

Russia and its neighbours, China, Central Asia, Middle East and Central Africa can be reached non-stop, or with one or two fuel stops, depending on the type of aircraft in use.
