Jetflite Oy has today invited its personnel to statutory consultation proceedings (change negotiations) in accordance with the Finnish Act on Co-operation within Undertakings. The negotiations concern the company’s flight operations, brokering services and fixed base operations, as well as its technical department and all of the company’s support functions, i.e. nearly all of the company’s businesses.

The company also provides logistics services under the name Jetlogistics, which are not subject to these negotiations.

The change negotiations are initiated on financial and production-related grounds as well as due to operational restructuring. The negotiations concern the planned discontinuation of the above-mentioned businesses and the potential termination of employment of the associated personnel.

The decisions under consideration are driven by the prolonged unprofitable performance of these businesses. Despite the measures taken, it has not been possible to improve their profitability in a sustainable manner. In addition, the company’s operating environment has changed significantly in the recent years.

The negotiations concern a total of 53 employees and will commence on 8 June 2026 with an expected duration of three weeks.

Jetflite Oy and Wihuri Group will not comment on the negotiations or their content during the negotiation process.

Jetflite Oy harkitsee useamman liiketoimintonsa lakkauttamista

Jetflite Oy on tänään kutsunut henkilöstönsä yhteistoimintalain mukaisiin muutosneuvotteluihin, jotka koskevat yhtiön lento-, välityspalvelu- ja maapalveluliiketoimintoja sekä teknistä osastoa ja yhtiön kaikkia tukitoimintoja eli lähes kaikkia yhtiön liiketoimintoja.

Yhtiö tarjoaa myös Jetlogistics-nimen alla logistiikkapalveluja, joita muutosneuvottelut eivät koske.

Muutosneuvottelut käynnistetään taloudellisilla ja tuotannollisilla sekä toiminnan uudelleenjärjestelystä johtuvilla perusteilla. Muutosneuvottelut koskevat edellä mainittujen liiketoimintojen suunniteltua lopettamista sekä näihin liittyvän henkilöstön työsuhteiden suunniteltua irtisanomista.

Harkittavien päätösten taustalla on mainittujen liiketoimintojen pitkään jatkunut tappiollinen kehitys. Tehdyistä toimenpiteistä huolimatta liiketoimintojen kannattavuutta ei ole pystytty parantamaan kestävällä tavalla. Lisäksi yhtiön toimintaympäristö on muuttunut voimakkaasti viime vuosina.

Neuvottelut koskevat yhteensä 53 työntekijää. Muutosneuvottelut aloitetaan 8.6.2026 ja niiden arvioitu kesto on kolme viikkoa.

Jetflite Oy tai Wihuri-konserni ei kommentoi muutosneuvotteluja tai niiden sisältöä neuvotteluprosessin aikana.
